PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- Laptop is in Mint condition as per buying new.
- This piece was a display set in an electronics store, thus never personally owned, never heavily used, and constantly plugged in, rarely running on battery.
- Receipt will be provided for 2 Years International Warranty covered locally.
- This is the 2022 Version. The replacement model for this is the G16, which basically just upgraded to use the slightly faster Ryzen 7000s series processor and uses a slightly larger 16:10 16" display.
- TGP for the RTX3050 in the Strix G15 is 95W, higher (and more powerful) than 85W typically found in most other gaming laptop and as low as only 35W in the RTX3050 of ultrabooks like Acer Swift X.
- Aesthetic of the Strix G15 screams of gamer and Esports with a large light ROG logo on the back of the screen and Matte Metallic Grey surfaces. As if that wasn't enough you get a bright RGB light strip covering half of the laptop on the underside. On the included Armoury Crate software, you can use Aura Sync to link the RGB changing coloured lights on the screen wallpaper (Free download from Asus), the RGB backlit keyboard and the Light strip below altogether for a seriously gaming laptop feel that few other gaming laptops provide.
- Armoury Crate allows quick overview of system configuration/status, quick changing of performance profile between silent, performance, turbo and manual (power limits/clock speeds of CPU/GPU). Multiple Visual Profiles can be configured in Armoury Crate (Including Color Temperature) and toggled quickly using FN+V. GPU mode can be switched between Utimate for best gaming performance to Optimized, Standard and Eco for best battery life
- Although not the loudest speakers around, those on the Strix G15 actually has a fair amount of bass more than most other gaming laptops and they remind you with a bassy sound that accompanies the ROG logo the moment you turn on the laptop. Dolby Access lets you tune the speakers to get louder, clear and more bassy sound.
- Another interesting fact, this is possibly the only modern laptop that feature an SSD/HDD status light. Great for those OCD about monitoring performance.Specs

Medium Format
Medium format refers to the size of your roll of film (or if you’re talking digital, it’s the size of the camera sensor). It really just means that you are shooting on a bigger piece of film than you do with a 35mm camera. The increased size of medium format film means a much larger negative. This will give you finer details and less grain.
Choosing your Right Medium Format Camera
Twin Lens Reflex (TLRS)
TLRs use two objective lens of the same focal length. The photographic objective lens is the one that is used to take the picture. The other lens, called the view lens, is connected to the viewfinder. Most TLRs are fixed focal length, and the more expensive models may incorporate a rudimentary room function. Most TLRs use a leaf shutter system, resulting in high speeds, quiet operation and low shutter vibration. There are also close-up, wide angle and telephoto adapters for TLRs.
Some popular TLRS cameras are: Yashica MAT-124G, Rolleiflex 2.8F, Minolta Autocord and Mamiya C330
Rangefinder
Rangefinder cameras are medium format cameras with a range finder. This negates the waistline, viewing that most TLRs carry. They are also much smaller than TLRs, and allow for easier point and shoot photographs. They tend to have limited focusing ranges, and do not have lenses larger than 180mm or 200mm. Rangefinders are quieter and easier to focus in dim light. They are mostly fixed lens models, but higher range models also provide for interchangeability.
Some popular rangefinder cameras are: Fujica G690, Mamiya 6/7, Bronica RF645, Norita 66 and Pentax 67
