PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- Laptop is in totally Mint condition. Full Set with Box, Manual, Charger as per buying new.
- This piece was a display set in an electronics store, thus never personally owned, never heavily used, and constantly plugged in, rarely running on battery.
- Receipt will be provided for 1 Year Warranty covered locally.
- The Modern 14 looks similar to the Prestige Evo 14 which cost significantly more but looks similar except for a larger trackpad. The bright 300 Nits Anti-Glare display (average laptops 250 Nits) allows outdoor use, being an IPS panel it has good range of viewing angle.
- CPU is the i7-1165G7, which is higher end, more expensive than the usual i5-1135G7 you get with these ultrabooks. i7-1165G7 offer higher clock speed and larger L3 Cache, hence better performance. Its XE integrated graphics has 96 EUs compared to 80 EUs in the i5-1135G7, offering better graphics and gaming performance. It is supposed to be similar in performance as the NVIDIA GeForce MX350 2GB DDR5 discrete graphics card.

- Despite not being the lightest 14" around at 1.25kg (M1 Macbook Air is 1.29kg), the Matte Aluminum Chasis keeps it really sturdy with minimal flex. Bottom gets raised up when lid is open, allow for airflow below the laptop and better cooling.
- It folds down 180degrees flat which most other models do not. It also has a shortcut key to flip the screen instantly. This innovation feature allows quick sharing of screen in a group setting.
- The USB-C port is Thunderbolt 4 supporting PD Charging, 40Gbps transfer and display out. That means together with the HDMI port, you can connect 2x 4K displays to this tiny laptop, use them all in extended display mode and you can charge it easily with any USB-C charger.
- The latest version of the Modern 14 with 12th Gen i7 retailing for $1599 now. Apart from 12th Gen i7, all the other specs are the same.

Medium Format
Medium format refers to the size of your roll of film (or if you’re talking digital, it’s the size of the camera sensor). It really just means that you are shooting on a bigger piece of film than you do with a 35mm camera. The increased size of medium format film means a much larger negative. This will give you finer details and less grain.
Choosing your Right Medium Format Camera
Twin Lens Reflex (TLRS)
TLRs use two objective lens of the same focal length. The photographic objective lens is the one that is used to take the picture. The other lens, called the view lens, is connected to the viewfinder. Most TLRs are fixed focal length, and the more expensive models may incorporate a rudimentary room function. Most TLRs use a leaf shutter system, resulting in high speeds, quiet operation and low shutter vibration. There are also close-up, wide angle and telephoto adapters for TLRs.
Some popular TLRS cameras are: Yashica MAT-124G, Rolleiflex 2.8F, Minolta Autocord and Mamiya C330
Rangefinder
Rangefinder cameras are medium format cameras with a range finder. This negates the waistline, viewing that most TLRs carry. They are also much smaller than TLRs, and allow for easier point and shoot photographs. They tend to have limited focusing ranges, and do not have lenses larger than 180mm or 200mm. Rangefinders are quieter and easier to focus in dim light. They are mostly fixed lens models, but higher range models also provide for interchangeability.
Some popular rangefinder cameras are: Fujica G690, Mamiya 6/7, Bronica RF645, Norita 66 and Pentax 67
